Silaturahmi dan Roadshow Workshop Optimalisasi Fungsi Masjid di Jembrana
Hari Minggu, 5 Februari 2023
Pimpinan MUI, DMI, MES, dan SEBAR Provinsi Bali menggelar silaturahmi dengan MUI, DMI,ICMI serta Takmir Masjid se-Kabupaten Jembrana dalam rangkaian Roadshow Workshop Optimalisasi Fungsi Masjid sebagai Pusat Kegiatan Umat. Acara ini berpusat di Masjid Baitul Qodim, Loloan Timur, dengan agenda pembukaan dan sambutan di lantai dua masjid.
Ketua MUI Kabupaten Jembrana, H. Tafsil, Lc., M.Pd.I., dalam sambutannya menekankan pentingnya persatuan lintas organisasi untuk kemajuan umat Islam di Jembrana. Beliau mengungkapkan harapannya agar umat Islam dapat bersatu dalam berbagai aspek, termasuk politik, ekonomi, dan sosial.
“Apa yang kita lakukan hari ini diharapkan menjadi langkah awal untuk membangkitkan ekonomi umat Islam, mengoptimalkan tanah wakaf, dan memanfaatkan potensi masjid sebagai pusat pemberdayaan ekonomi umat,” ujar beliau.
Sementara itu, Ketua DMI Kabupaten Jembrana, H. Drs. Sodikhin, menggarisbawahi peran penting masjid dalam membangun ekonomi lokal. Dengan jumlah umat Islam sebesar 26% di Jembrana, beliau menekankan bahwa masjid-masjid harus diberdayakan untuk menghidupkan roda ekonomi masyarakat.
Ketua MUI Wilayah Bali, H. Mahrusun Hadyono, M.Pd.I., menambahkan bahwa masjid tidak hanya sebagai tempat ibadah, tetapi juga pusat pendidikan politik, ekonomi, dan sosial. Beliau mengajak umat Islam untuk meningkatkan persatuan dan kekompakan guna memperjuangkan kepentingan umat.
Ketua Umum DMI Wilayah Bali sekaligus anggota DPD RI, H. Bambang Santoso, MA, menginspirasi peserta dengan mencontoh kejayaan Islam pada masa Bani Umayyah. Beliau mengingatkan bahwa umat Islam harus bangkit dengan mencontoh negara-negara seperti Thailand dan Filipina, di mana meskipun minoritas, umat Islam mampu memainkan peran penting dalam ekonomi dan politik.
Setelah sesi pembukaan, acara dilanjutkan dengan workshop yang dibagi ke dua tempat:

Acara ini menjadi momen berharga untuk memperkuat persatuan umat Islam di Jembrana, memaksimalkan fungsi masjid, dan memperjuangkan kepentingan umat dalam berbagai bidang.
